In my 22 years of life I’ve learned that all it really comes down to is love. No matter how much you don’t agree with somebody or see eye-to-eye with them, we all speak a universal language of love. It’s something we all NEED and without it we would die. I believe the most important thing we can tell each other is that we love each other, no matter who we are, where we came from, or where we are going. The one constant we all hold is love.
I am a very passionate person and red represents passion, so I decided to keep the heart red based on my passion for life but also my passion about the importance of love.
i’m digging this tattoo and the words of the person who got it. such truth. when i get my tattoo you best believe i’ll be posting it. still under construction. there are a few that i want to get; should have one within a year if all goes according to plan. i was going to write a blog entry (le gasp!) to go with this picture but i need a moment to collect my thoughts and meld them into comprehensive, digestible sentences. but as a filler i’m just going to say, damn, why didn’t i try to get into a high school prom in a tuxedo escorting a same-sex date? if i had known it were that easy to get $30,000 from ellen degeneres do you know how long ago i would have done that? sure, i’m not in high school anymore but i’m sure i could have slipped under the radar. le sigh. i think i’m going to try to find a high school and pass off as an au pair from ethiopia who is also chasing the dream of getting a college degree in america, and attempt to get into the dance wearing, not only a tuxedo, but an obnoxious top hat (entire ensemble purple) with matching gator skin dress shoes.
